The Canada Goose is a wild goose with a black head and neck, white patches on the face, and a brownish-gray body.
An introduced species from North America, it has successfully spread to cover most of the UK. It forms flocks and occur in large numbers in parks , near rivers and grasslands .
I have taken the following photographs along the river Thames in Reading Caversham on a lovely sunny afternoon .
